Roundabout's Monday to Saturday peak vehicle requirement was committed to the Orpington network. However evenings and Sundays there were plenty of buses available for extra non LRT work. The company were awarded contracts between 1987-1989 for Kent County Council and the London Docklands Developement Corporation. It also began offering vehicles for hire, for weddings, day trips and Christmas light tours, this became very popular, so much infact that Orpington's vehicles were incorperated into its much larger parent company SELKENT Travel thus giving a wider range of vehicle sizes from a 21 seater up to a double decker.

Routes 22,23 & 26 ran late evenings M-F, Route 401 Sundays under contract to Kent County Council.

Route D1 ran in one direction only M-F evening peak and was operated under contract to the London Docklands Developement Corperation.

One bus for the D1 became available in the afternoons M-F having completed the PM school extra on route R2 Biggin Hill - Orpington Station.
